Reading Groups and Speaker Series

The Lab of Narrative Medicine We champion literacy as the "essential software" for 21st-century care. Our reading groups move beyond passive consumption, practicing a "close reading" of literature and history to sharpen clinical intuition. By engaging with guest speakers—thinkers who inhabit the intersection of art and science—members learn to interpret the subtext of human illness and the subtleties of patient stories that technology cannot capture.

Community Coaching

Peer Mentorship and Social Capital We dismantle the "hidden curriculum" through a model of mutual care. Our coaching is not a top-down directive, but a co-production of knowledge where Inheritors and Forgers share social capital and navigational strategies. This collaborative habitus ensures that every member gains the institutional insight and emotional resilience required to navigate the medical landscape as a person among people.
